ReCoSoC history

The International Symposium on Reconfigurable Communication-centric Systems-on-Chip (ReCoSoC) is a reference event for research in the areas of reconfigurable and communication-centric systems-on-chip. Its goal is to encourage technical and scientific interactions of both academic and industrial participants through presentations and special sessions reporting latest advances in the related areas. Its philosophy is to keep an informal and dynamic nature, aiming to form a community and embrace new members, and striving to provide positive and constructive feedback in all stages of its program: paper reviews, paper and poster presentations and informal discussions during the event.

ReCoSoC was created as a workshop in 2005, through a collaboration between TU Darmstadt and LIRMM/Univ. Montpellier. The organisers of that first workshop, who were also the editors of its first proceedings, are Gilles Sassatelli, Manfred Glesner, Lionel Torres, Leandro Soares Indrusiak and Thomas Hollstein. Over the past decade and a half, ReCoSoC has established itself as a reference international event and has been held in five European countries.
